We are proud to be a UNICEF Rights Respecting School. This award recognises achievement in putting the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child at the heart of a school’s planning, policies, practice and ethos. A rights respecting school not only teaches about children's rights, but also models rights and respect in maintaining relationships between teachers, parents and pupils. Our school ethos and values are also underpinned by the fundamental British values of democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty and mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs.
Our Rights Respecting Charter, which is displayed in every classroom and around the school, underpins the values that everybody at Knowsley adheres to.
