It is a real privilege to welcome you to our school.

As I begin my first academic year as Headteacher, I am incredibly excited about the journey ahead. There is a real sense of energy and momentum across our school as we build on our strengths, embrace positive change and work together to make our school the very best it can be for every child.

At the heart of everything we do are our children. We want them to feel safe, happy, valued and heard, while receiving an ambitious education that inspires them to learn and achieve. This year, we have introduced a new school vision and five core values – kindness, honesty, respect, resilience and responsibility. Rooted in our Rights Respecting Charter, these values reflect the young people we want our children to become and will guide the way we learn and live together as our school family.

Our staff share this ambition. This year, many of our staff have moved into different year groups, bringing their experience and enthusiasm to new teams. This has created fresh opportunities for collaboration, strengthened our practice across the school and brought renewed energy to our curriculum and teaching.

We know that a great school is about much more than academic achievement. It is a place where children belong, where relationships matter and where children are encouraged to be curious, courageous and confident. We want our pupils to enjoy coming to school, to embrace new experiences and challenges, and to leave us proud of what they have achieved and ready for the next stage of their journey.

As we move forward, we are ambitious about what we can achieve together. We will continue to work closely with our children, staff, families, governors and wider community. There is much to celebrate already and much to look forward to.

I am enormously proud to be leading our school at such an exciting time and look forward to sharing the journey ahead with you.

We currently have spaces in Year 3, 4, 5 and 6.
